This is my fantastic 2012 Mustang V6 Performance Pack. A relatively rare option package for the V6, this was offered with the move to the 3.7L “Cyclone” V6 in 2011. It was also known as the Mustang Mayhem Package. It included unique 19in wheels, black mirror caps, and upgraded sway bars, suspension and braking upgrades, a special strut brace, and a different rear axle ratio from the standard V6 Mustang.



 What’s the result? A 305HP driver that handles great and is a ton of fun to drive. I’ve added a Magnaflow exhaust that helps it sound a little more macho as well (but not loud or drone-y). I’ve got the stock exhaust if you’d like to swap that back in. The car is in fantastic shape, no mechanical and cosmetic issues to speak of. I also upgraded the sway bar and end link bushings to polyurethane, which made a nice difference. I installed a backup cam (that is completely removable if desired) because the rear visibility could be a little better.



 In terms of other features, this is a Premium, which means that you get leather heated seats, a Shaker 400W sound system, satellite radio, etc. It also has the Mustang Club of America package, with gives it the side stripes and the billet grille with the off-set badge. The manual shifts great and no problems with the clutch, etc. Tires are relatively new and have plenty of life, oil was changed this summer.

 This is a great, inexpensive, low mileage entry into Mustang ownership. Is it a V8? Nah, but it’s a beautiful car and a lot of fun to drive.
