Looking to rebuild tranny in 96 GT, can any body recommend a reputable shop.

Where are you in MA? Methuen transmission is supposed to be really good, he is a little tough to find but it is just him and his dog, he does good work.

Ya that would be a little ride then. I am from Methuen, so I only know a couple places around here.
