thats ok early this morning about 1am'ish i scared the crap out of myself in the new car. i took it for a shake down drive and headed down rt 3 to the cape across rt6 then up rt 25, it was on rt 25 that i shifted from 5th to 4th at 75 mph and let that sucker unwind shifted right at 5500rpm,,,, closing rate at 125 is scary fast, could not believe how fast that car a mile ahead of was right in front of me ( LOL) after that i set the cruise to 65 and just putted back home.

You had a hard time with 35%? Isn't that the legal limit in Mass? I had 35% on my Focus (and will eventually have 35% on my Mustang), and had no trouble with passing. But then again I always go to the shops with muscle cars outside. Have yet to have a problem with my Borlas being too loud...

Interesting. They're funny beasts sometimes. My transmission tends to grumble a lot when idling with the clutch out (that's just the way the TR-6060 is) but some days, for no apparent reason, dead quiet.

Well, I sold some stuff, and raised enough scratch to put my next evil scheme into motion. Just ordered a set of 2013 Corsa GT500 mufflers with the Diamond Black tips (and judging by the fact they stiff you for an extra $150 or so on top of the already pricey muffers for the black tips, they damn well better be coated in real black diamonds 
)
Did some photo chops of the car, and the quad polished was just too much bling though.
If anyone is interested, I'll have my 05-09 GT Corsa Sports up for sale at a decent price as soon as the new ones are swapped in. (The Sports will need a trip to a muffler shop to have single tips swapped back on, but I can provide some gorgeous mirror polished stainless dual wall tips to go with them..)
