Bummer dude.
yea, going through insurance...appraiser was supposed to come out yesterday and i had everything set up for me to come into work later, but that person bailed on me because he wanted to stay up all night banging some girl (i won't be doing him anymore favors when he needs)...yea, i knew i was gonna be found at fault, just tried my luck finding some type of loophole

I don't know if its set in stone, but I would really try to avoid going through insurance for a couple reasons!

1) You're going to get 4 points. The total cost of those points over the next 6 years are:
4 points: $1800 + Whatever your deductible is

2) Now, if the money isn't bad enough, things like this will bite you in the *** later. Hell, I've heard of insurance companies that will drop you after 1 accident, ONE accident! What a scam!

Now, the #'s in part 1 are guesstimates. If you really want to find out the total cost, these 4 areas of your insurance will go up by 15% FOR EACH POINT. So its 60% for 3 years, then another 30% for 3 years after that.
1) Bodily Injury
2) Property Damage
3) Personal Injury
4) Collision

That's a little depressing because my intke right now doesnt require a tune lol.

And also Paul, how wide are your back rims? :P

Oh I know all about that, my insurance is what's stopping me from doing major mods to my car. Seeing that I have six points on my license, my yearly premium is about $3750 But it's going to go down about $1200 in November

Rears are 18 x 10 with 285 series rubber.

If you like those rims, I just noticed the manufacturer has a great sale going at the moment. staggered set (2) 18 x 9 and (2) 18 x 10 for $405...

At those prices, I'm half tempted to grab a new set myself (I have a couple wheel with minor curb rash)
