Getting closer...just ordered the clutch for the swap.

Got a SPEC Stage 3+, had to special order it with the 26 spline hub for the TR6060.

Well, the project is getting real now...my tax refund hit my bank overnight and I just ordered the TR-6060...

Sorry to hear that, but no one else will make the clutch I need (4.0 flywheel size with the 26 spline 6060 hub). There are ~15-20 conversions out there running the SPECs without any issues, so hopefully that streak continues for me.

I'm sure it will, IIRC all the problems were with either Spec stage 2's or the 2+, I forget which.

You're right, now that you mention it, I do recall some talk of the "2" series (I forget which as well) having some problems.

Hopefully I avoid all that with the 3+ (wanted the best/longest wearing they had, because I'm hoping not to drop this thing again for years).

Ya I haven't heard anything bad about the Spec 3's, lets hope it continues. How stiff is the clutch going to be?
