alot of it has to do with everything being done on facebook now and the events made get put into your phones calendar and reminds you the morning of the event. and it doesn't help that every single mustang year has it's own facebook page now. makes it tough for people to go on forums

it's just a fact of life that forums have taken a beating up against more rapid paced online media such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
It's a shame in my view, because while the immediacy of the other online communication methods is fine, stuff there is like dust in the wind, here today, gone later today (For instance try finding the details a buddy posted on his car project two months ago on FB...good luck with that.)
I have a few ideas to try to shake things up at least a little in our local chapter area here once we're all out of the New England winter doldrums.

I agree, I am on five forums and help moderate one that shut the forum section down. FB is not a great way to document builds I agree but a lot of people have quit mustang forums for talk and info. Sad indeed, I digress.
