You know I been on this forum for about 3 months now, What I notice is most everybody is looking for acceptance on ther modifications they do, Is it ok? Does this look good? Or they are trying to keep up with the Jones on power mods, I say have fun with your car! Build it the way you want. If someone in Florida doesnt like it ,Who cares! If you dont do what everybody else wants to do who cares! As far as more power I have a GT with a open exhaust. I can smoke my tires, Cut donuts on dry pavement spinning the whole time. I can turn a exceesive speeds that someday might kill me and I can go over 125mph and I dont race! Why do I need more except to brag about it! I really love my car. Do I need more, To be like the baddest fastest car in town? Hell no! I need to enjoy what I have. I hope you do too! Get out and enjoy your mustang! Thats why you bought it in the first place.

Today I just installed my SSS Terminator Exhaust, Loved the Deep throaty sound and the 4 inch tail pipes look like two canons poking out the back! Money well spent! I followed it up with a K&N air filter to hold me over until I find the funds for a cold-air-intake with a tuner.Last week the windows were tinted to give it that much needed dark mean look! More to come soon!

Tonight I received my Roush rear springs in the mail. With in the next 45 minutes they were on the car. They lowered my rear of the car just enough and the ride was still good! I will have more updated pictures to follow soon. I have been reading the forum and getting lots of good ideas. I am a bit old school when it comes to cars and it reflects with the look Im trying to acheive. More work to come!

Hello, I have a plan for my mustang, I want it to handle well, More concern about performance than cosmetic issues.Like any project it will take time and lots of money. I have started by installing a Hurst short throw shifter, G-trac brace and shock tower brace. I have done alot of reserch on tire wheel combinations. Like I said money is a issue so I went with 275/40/17 Pirelli Nero-zeros on 9 inch rims and 245/40/17 Pirrelli Nero-zeros on the 8 inch rims The choice of tire size has benifts and draw backs. The benifit was the smaller tire lowers my rear end gear ratio to a better level without changing the gears, Gives be the better performance level. The draw back is you cant install bigger brakes. On the plus side I dont have the money to do it anyways. A better performance brake shoes and rotors will come in the near future. I have caught alot of slack about the space between the fender and tire. I like the look and dont care how others feel about it because its my car! Why did I run the shorter side tire on the front? I wanted the side wall height to be equal and I wanted the fender tire gap to be equal all the way around. I love the raked apperance of the mustang and dont want to change that. Something I was concerned about was the clearancewith the small tires. I have about 5 3/4 inches at the rocker panels and 4 inches at the lowest point. (exhaust and front g-trac brace) I was going to install a 1 inch drop, But after driving the car, I dont think it will benifit me any. The car is a daily driver not just a track car. I plan to install adjustable pan-hard bar with brace, Better sway bars and Koni adjustable shocks.Upper and lower rear control arm links are being considered. After reading the forums I have mixed thoughts on those.
For better performace I want to let the car breath better, Cold air intake and better mufflers with a x-pipe set up, underdrive pulleys are in order! Any sugestions would be appreciated. Thanks for visiting my profile page!
