My 2003 Torch Red 4.6L 32v Mach 1
My Mach 1 is my daily driver, my hobby, my baby, and my "other woman" all rolled up into one beautiful Torch Red package!
I ordered the car from a local Ford dealer on May 14th 2002, long before they even knew what a Mach 1 was! It was finally delivered on December 4th 2002, the next day it snowed over 8 inches! I made several modifications, both aesthetic and mechanical right from the beginning, things like a Hurst shifter, Borla Stinger catback, Visus rear window louvers, Cobra Jet emblems on the shaker, chrome Mach 1 wheels. I ran a 100 shot of NX nitrous for over 4 years, with no problems, I might add.
In the summer of 2008, with the Mach 1 paid for, it's extended warranty expired, I faced the dilemma of whether to trade it in for a new Mustang, or keep it and really mod it.
I decided to keep it! It now has 60k miles on it, but a brand new Ford Racing Performance Parts "Aluminator" motor, with fully forged internals and 8.5:1 compression ratio. A Kenne Bell 2.1 twin screw intercooled supercharger, Kooks LT header, catted x-pipe. FRPP aluminum driveshaft, FRPP 3.73 gears, Eaton posi unit, Moser 31 spline axles, Ford GT twin fuel pumps, braided fuel line, billet fuel rails, Autometer gauges, and whole bunch of other goodies!

Thanks! I won't know the power numbers until I take it back for a pulley swap and the final tune. I've been doing a slow break-in on the new motor, with low boost and a reduced rev limit. Even with the handicap, it was putting out over 425whp with a pig rich tune. We're shooting for 600+ whp on the final tune, so I'm looking forward to that day getting here!

Hey, I'll be one state over in April when I come down to Birmingham for the Mustang 45th Anniversary shindig. That should be like a day trip for you LOL!
