My 2011 Black & Silver Shelby GT500
To make a long story short, in July 2012, I sold my totally built 2003 Torch Red Mach 1 (it's up for Ride of The Year if you want to go vote for it!), used my wife's 2011 Sterling Gray Metallic V6 Pony Package for a trade in, and bought a 2011 Black with Silver stripes Shelby GT500 with 2,500 miles on it! Fell in love with this car the minute I saw it! I initially said that I wouldn't mod it, but I have since gone ahead and done some minor bolt ons that have upped the horsepower about 100hp from the stock 550hp. I did a Ford Racing Performance Parts intake resonator delete tube, Air Raid high flow air filter, VMP Tuning SCT Xcal3 programmer with 93 octane high performance street tune, VMP Tuning 2.50 inch stock look supercharger pulley and 90mm idler pulley.

Very nice. I cant imagine how hard it was to sell the Mach after all that work you put into it. And like Tanner said - I LOVE THE GAUGES!

Thank you everybody. Yes, it was extremely difficult to let go of the Mach, but when I put an arbitrary price out there and someone took me up on it, I decided it was time to let it go. I enjoyed it for almost ten years, and now someone else gets to enjoy it for awhile, and I moved up to my "dream car."
I've always wanted to own a Shelby, but they were always out of my price range, so I used to refer to them as my "lottery car", or the car I would buy if I ever won the lottery! Turns out my ten year old Mach 1 was my lottery ticket!! LOL! |
Very nice, great color combo
|
Nice ride you got there!
|
Yes, very nice ride. Congrats.
