2008 P51A Build
So I finally picked up the ride. 2008 P51A #81 of 151. This thread will be a slow one, since I'm on my way back to Afghanistan until September 2017. I will be buying parts while I'm gone so they will be ready for install as soon as I get home. So here she is, the day I picked her up in VA and in my garage. Going to be a fun build for sure...

Right now I know I will be doing ARH LTs with high flow cats, MGW Shifter, One Piece Driveshaft, BMR K-Member, BMR Radiator Support, BMR UCA, ID1000s, BAP x 2....The rest is still up in the air...

So I've made up my mind on a couple more mods. Going with Ground Control coilovers and BMR panhard. I'm also going to upgrade my 4 piston Roush brakes to the 6 piston Roush brakes that came on the 2009 P51B as well as upgrading to stainless lines.
I'm going over HP mods and pretty much have it nailed down. We'll see....

I've changed my mind on the coilovers...So here are the parts I ordered and are waiting for me at the house:
VMP high flow elbow
VMP 67mm TB
Comp stage 2 blower cams
MGW flat stick shifter
GT500 strut mounts
BMR handling springs
BMR panhard
BMR panhard brace
BMR LCA relocation brackets
BMR LCAs
Michelin Pilot super sport tires 275/30/18 and 295/30/18
Can't wait to get home and turn some wrenches, get it tuned and drive the crap out of it.

Yep, schedule change. Home in 25 days, but I'll be going back in September now. Staying for about 9 months. At least I'll have this summer to enjoy the car. Of course, I'll be getting round 2 of mods on my next trip...
