My Dads 2004 Dark Red/Maroon 5.4L Lariat Ford F-150

My mom bought it from a custom car collector for my dad. She came home with it and 28k cash less, it has 22K miles on it. So she brought it home, and told my dad to get rid of his mustang. He had a 1993 5.0 LX with flowmaster mufflers. Anyways, here it is.

THEBLACKSTANG 08-17-2009 03:25 PM

So he had to get rid of the stang?

domindart 08-17-2009 11:19 PM

I vote keep the stang.

domindart 08-17-2009 11:20 PM

It was exactly like yours. If I can find some pictures of it, I will post them up! He had to sell it.. So they sold it to my uncle for a few K's, and my uncle sold it to some guy that turned it into a juice chugging stang ( I hate juice ) and my dad was pissed off when he found out my uncle sold it, because he was suppose to keep it, that's why we sold it to him.
Something is wrong with the scanner, so I just took a picture of it out of the scrapbook. In person, it looks like your stang ( the color).

It is a lariat, which is top of the line. I asked my mom yesterday and she said she paid 28K. I thought it was 32k.

domindart 08-20-2009 11:48 AM

nice stang man, too bad it was sold, but sometimes gotta do what you gotta do, love that truck!

thunderhorse 08-20-2009 11:58 AM

Still pricey. And the one i posted is a Lariat. Nice truck, nonetheless. Enjoy

Jewel01GT 08-21-2009 08:49 AM

Ugggg I would have kept the stang.

SkillzDatKillz 08-21-2009 07:09 PM

28k for an 04? You've got to be kidding me. You could have got a 09 Lariat for that.

maxshuty 08-21-2009 07:24 PM

Very nice truck!

I dont think some of these people realize that some people choose to buy locally. If you bought that same exact truck here in my town it would easily be 28k. Obviously eBay and other places have them cheaper but some people just dont do it that way and support the local economy.

Nice lookin stang too. A shame it had to go :(

My mom bought the 04 truck in 06 or 07~. So she couldn't have bought an 09 Lariat. :icon_no:

A lariat isn't top of the line for F150s...

Explosive 09-14-2009 06:33 PM

Why the hell did he sell the stang, stupid.

That's what I was told by the ford dealer, I guess I shouldn't say something they tell me. :icon_doh: What is then?

reznap 09-14-2009 07:09 PM

Well, I'm going to keep it positive. That's a really nice truck, shame on your uncle though.

It's about fourth on the food chain. Next comes the FX4,King Ranch and Harley models along with the Platinum.

Almost, but the platinum edition wasn't released until 2009 so its third. Lariats are still very nice trucks that are very well equipped though.

Dj_Seph 10-27-2009 02:53 PM

Very true. I just noticed that the Platinum was something new.

Polishgonewild 11-26-2009 09:19 PM

That stang was clean, but i guess you gotta upgrade sometime to something bigger
