Talking MY 08 STi

I joined this forum mainly because my uncle has an 89 LX convertible. He got a tremendous deal on it. $1000 14k miles. Bought it from my other uncle who owns a body shop. Anyways, on to my buggy. I bought her for 28k w/13k miles. Stage II AP RaLLitek and COBB tuned. I am currently running the Stage II RaLLiTek tune @20psi. Catted COBB dp, Magnaflow CBE, stock intake w/ a K&N. I just got a Stage I exedy clutch dleivered today. The stock clutch started to $hit the bed so I decide it was time to upgrade in case I want a bigger turbo in the future. I plan on just modding the supsension (Springs, swaybars, bushings, heavy duty endlinks, strut tower bars). Right now I have dunlop direzzas on her and I HATE them. They are waaaay too loud for my liking. I am also going to be getting an aftermarket front bumper and Grille. That is about it for aesthetic mods. Here are som pics.
Can't wait for autox season to start!!

Tons of fun during this last blizzard^^^

My other car. 2000 NA subaru GC. Mild suspension upgrades, CBE, Bridgestone potenza RE-O1R. She's fun in the twisties but slow as a snail in the starights lol.

Couldn't find a way to edit the thread. I also have KYB GR2s with an unknow brand of lowering springs that came on it.

The new STIs are growing on me. I didn't really like the new hatch look, but slowly they are looking nicer.

bad *** car dude- if I were to buy a new car tomorrow I'd be torn between a new STI and a new GT. My buddy has one the same year in Greyish black. I love that thing

Thanks for all the compliments fellas! I wasn't really a fan of the hatch at first, then I saw one in person at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. I was pretty turned on after that lol. I originally wanted the 06-07 body style, although I am not a huge fan of the spolier. This one was only 7 miles from me and was a great price.

I hope to learn some things about my uncle's LX while I am on here. I just bought some shorty headers for him He is looking at getting a new exhaust for it, not sure what brand yet? I can't convince him to swap out the rear drums though

If any of you are thinking about getting a new STi, check out the 2010 STi limited edition. It has newer suspension upgrades, limited wheels and it starts out at 30k The first models to be released are going to be Aspen White.

The 08s were around 35-36 brand new and they have almost half of what the 08-10 regular STis' have.
