1979 Chevy Malibu
Original color scheme, but not the original paint. The flywheel is the only original drivetrain component.
I am the original owner. https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...3468-85-cp.jpg https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...-cone-200h.jpg I haven't decided whether to go through one more build with it or strip off all the parts I can use for a different project and let the rest go to somebody looking to build a dragstrip car. What's it got done to it?

0.030" over 4-bolt main 350, steel crank, Aluminum heads, forged pistons (10.2-ish actual CR), mild HR cam, aftermarket multiport EFI, cold air intake, Centerforce II, Tremec TR3550, 3.73's, Auburn limited slip, 15 x 8.5" wheels, cloth bucket seats swiped from a 1987 Maxima, stiffer springs, Bilsteins, polyurethane body to frame mount bushings and some other chassis stiffening, aftermarket speedometer and tach, battery → trunk, aggressive street alignment (and way aggressive auto-X specs).

Nice ride my man....

Very Cool!! You've done a lot of work on that car! Gotta love a built 350 with a 5 speed!

Thanks.
It's been a fun ride/project over the years, for both powertrain and chassis/suspension. I modded the original 305 once, eventually swapped in a much healthier 350, then upgraded that. Went to the EFI build after the uprated 350 dropped a valve (son was driving at the time, with at least one friend on board). Norm |
