Mercury? WHY?!

outceltj: Unless I get promoted it is going to take that long. If I do get promoted the small mods will go in a matter of months. The big one will have to wait a year regardless.
JCON: I don't want to grenade my stock block. And it still has to sound decent, not too loud. Getting headers and a full exhaust usually ends up being on the loud side. I will be running to stock tune. If I want to go higher I could, but only after getting the block forged.
I got 3.55's right now, and I think they are the sweet spot. It goes to nearly 60 in second, and pulls nicely. With forced induction pushing the car it'll be a blast to wind out 4th, which stops at 140ish.
I have heard the pype bombs in person, and they are right up my alley. They are much louder than stock due to being a muffler delete, but they don't pop, don't drone too much according to the owner I talked to and sound dark. Both idle and full tilt. Awesome!
moosestang: So, $6,995.00 for the 550hp model. Does include everything, whereas other superchargers need extra parts like boost a pump etc. But 550hp doesn't sit well with me. That's well above the 450hp range that's deemed safe.
S197GT07: A M112 from a GT500 sounds interesting, but the wild goose chase for parts, and then more than likely the unwillingness of my stealership to install would be a problem point. And I doubt it comes with a canned tune either. I just want to put a complete package on there when the time comes. Not something I have to piece together.
I think the M90 would be the best bet for me. It keeps everything safe.

I am merely stating that I won't need extra cam or exhaust if I want to keep power below 450 at the block. Besides, imho there is a reason why the limit is 6250rpm. Don't want to rev beyond that anyway.

I didn't see any good supporting mods in there. Like longtubes, a ProChamber (or other crossover pipe), cams (may want to wait until after the supercharge to determine which profile you want), or internal work (will want this if you start pushing big numbers. Also consider a new clutch). Also look at rear gears. For NA 5-speeds, the seat of your pants feel from 4.10's far exceeds the feel from standard intake and exhaust. I love mine. For a supercharger, you may want to consider 3.73's if 4.10 is too high for you.

Now, if your reason for wanting the M90 is its price, then that makes sense. It is a cheap option, but there is no need to justify it with any other reasons.

Still not as loud as the M90 though.
But with 2.6L on tap... One does have growth potential, but those KB's are pretty expensive compared to other brands. I'd lean more towards Whipple if not M90, due to the ford racing connection.
But that little M90, that intoxicating whine. It might not be fast, but 0-60 in under 5 and a 12.x second quarter is quick enough.
