Well it looks messy, but this is my fill in and grind off of the antenna I am very happy with it

Notice anything different?

If you didnt, the cage is painted with POR-15. And so is half my body and a lot of my hair haha... Small car and me inside painting = paint all over me!

I did an absolutely crap job on cutting and welding on the corner pieces, so no pics lol. Actually I was just so busy that I didnt take out my cell. But there is all new metal under there I promise! I tried just bondo at first and hated the result so no go.

My series is their best. The Elite 10 Color Series. I am liking them more and more now that I have them working better. I had to look up diagrams to get the correct wires to plug into for my tach because their directions were the wrong color wire even from the dizzy, but now that I have that all sorted out I like them. I still need to figure out why my Fuel Level gauge is working... But other than that the others seem to be working pretty well! I can see them a lot easier than I thought I would be able to too. I thought it would be hard. But they seem to be smooth and fairly accurate as far as I can tell. I mounted my water temp in the water neck so I dont see any change in temp until it hits about 180 and then it stays there. So I figure Im okay haha. But yeah I like them for what they cost. I still want some Autometers as I just trust them better.

Well.. The last 3 hours I could have been working on MY 89 CRX.
Instead I sat here, hooked on your build. LOL.
Anyway.. Here are my thoughts.
Dope *** roll cage. Excellent work from the start until now.
The hood is awesome. When are you going to put the mesh, plexi or whatever
in the holes?
I dig your headlights too. In fact, I was wondering what they looked like
on a crx without all the exterior pizzazz and I may just pick some up as well. haha.
If you are done with your other tail lights(black set) I would be willing to pick them up from you
if you are willing to let em go cheap. LOL.
The set on my project are cracked & broken.
The dash and the glowshift action is AWESOME!
The 17's on the car aren't too bad, They are a LITTLE too big,
but still look good.
Looking forward to updates for sure..
Sorry man I have been busy moving around the country! I usually update at least once or twice a week. Thanks man. I <3 my cage too I will put in the mesh or plexi after I paint the hood. Which should I do, mesh or plexi?!?!?! It is going to match the car because it has some deep scratches I dont think I can buff out. I tried sanding them out and it didnt do too well so I will just paint it which will be cooler I think. Looks stock and then open it up and BAM its fiberglass! lol. SOme
NO WAY. You are the first person to like the headlights lol. I do like them and they give decent light. Yeah 17s are a tad big, but oh well it looks good to me.

Well here is an update for all yall....

***UPDATE***

Well I managed to drive the CRX into the back of a budget truck...

Then we drove it to San Angelo, TX....

Open road man I wanted to be speedin in the rex on it!

Can you see the CRX? Its in the truck I swear!

Now it is packed into a nice little storage unit...

Then I got an idea into my wifes head about good gas mileage and she got me this to drive since the crx is not yet ready

2012 Honda Ruckus! 114 mpg what what!

***UPDATE***

I finally installed my new cam seal. Hopefully that will be the answer to my oil leak problem.

Stock VS GEM

Who doesnt like shiny new stuff!?!?!?

Some installed pics!

So I brushed some more POR15 on... I finished off a can in the back. I think I will use my small spray gun and spray the por15 on for the final can and finish it all off nicely on the inside... IDK though... I need a bigger garage man!

Crappy cell pics in the dark.

This is paint brushed on obviously...

Well I painted another can of POR15...Dang my hands are covered now...But so is the inside of the car!

Moar work!
