Thanks guy's the best thing about that interview was not being on TV but the praise from Lance. This man has interviewed the best of the best and his favorite car is a 66 Mustang. So for him to say "This is as fine a 66 Mustang as I have ever seen" was the most amazing complement one could get.

yay, bellevue WA for the win!
Man that is an awesome car, I hope my '65 can look that good some day.. wow! Did it have any rust bubbles when you got it? Mine does... that's probably the biggest problem with it at the moment. It's been garaged for like 25 years so that has slowed a bit of the rust growth at least.
Anyways, great job on that stang.

That's such a wonderful Mustang story! Most Mustangs that need restoration, if they aren't some special model, are not worth too much, so it's nice to see someone give it to a car crazy person who will appreciate it and yet he'll still be able to see the car from time to time.
My dad finally got rid of his 1971 convertible that was totally stock. He got a decent price for it, considering it needed lots of work to be an award winning showcar, but it was bought by a collector and promptly shipped off to England.
I love the way you kept the car stock and feel that the real amazing work was done in the engine. That photo shows a very clean engine bay, looking very perfect! Thanks for sharing!
