Thinking of joining this drive in April of 09. Has anyone done this drive before? Any advice???

I went on a Power Tour a few years back.Save enough for two new tires just in case.I also had extra fan belts,thermostat,fuses,water,coolant and a variety of emergency tools for break downs.Unless you already have it get the Triple A card for insurance,maybe a tow or two.

i'm in phoenix and e-mailed him on a few questions.never even got a reply.the person who is the head of this lives on the east side of the valley.i guess if he can't take the time to answer me,i can't take the time to go.

I just heard about this yesterday actually. I saw it on the HD theater channel. They did a whole hour segment on it. Looks like a lot of fun. Maybe some day I'll be able to do it too. Good Luck!

The one being shown on the HD channel is from 2004 and didn't feature any S197 Mustangs.

I just got finished watching all 6 parts of the youtube videos from the 40th Anniv of 2004. That looks like such a blast. Don't know if I'll be able to make with but it's on my radar now.

What a blast that would be. First one with our beloved S197!!!
