Well, I got a great deal on an 09 this evening. 5.8% financing. I got $20,000 for the 07 on trade.

My 07 was an auto, and the new one is a manual. I still feel the autos in these cars are pretty good, and I've done my share of defending it on this board... BUT, I'm also man enough to admit when I have to eat crow... you guys were right, I got bored of it. :P

Anyhow, the new GT is a deluxe with pretty much no extras in black. The 07 was a loaded premium which was nice and all, but I wanted a clean slate this time. Not to mention I had bought the 07 in Seattle, and since moving to Texas my **** sweats all the time on the leather, lol.

I'll be going "vader"-style on this black one with probably some unique stripe configuration like my last one. I'm thinking flat black, or very dark gray for the stripes, and I'll go with some black wheels as well eventually.

I'm going to supercharge it next spring with a Saleen or Whipple. For now, I'll order a new tune from BamaChips and put my JLT II intake on there. I need to get some more obnoxious mufflers too. Suggestions are welcome. :P Anyway, that's my car geek news for the day.

you think about doing black winder louvers for the quarters and rear at all? That would look so sick! Dark tint. Wow.... I might trade mine in and do it. LOL

I will probably do the side windows, but hadn't thought about the rear... hmm, maybe.... I want this thing to look black and pissy.

Yeah, my 07 was loaded... leather, IUP, etc. This 09 is just a regular GT with a 5-speed. It had nothing additional at all, so just what comes with the car. I could have gotten one that was a little more optioned out, but I didn't want the leather anyway, and I thought it would be fun to be able to tweak out the car inside and out.
