Very very cool, i honestly feel like that's what the Bullitt grill should've looked like.

timspony-

Do you mean "What's your location?" as in, where am I geographically, or what is that building behind the car?

If it's the former, I'm in Albany NY. If it's the latter, I really don't know. It's some sort of mostly empty looking warehouse across from a boat launch. When I turned around and noticed it there, then realized I had a camera in my hand, one thing lead to another.

staggolee-

Thanks. I agree.

very nice car. if you do alot of shooting outside might want to invest in a circular polarizer. it will help cut down on the reflections.

Yeah, I was using a pretty crappy camera. Once I get the louvers on I'll be arranging a real shoot with my buddy who's a much better photographer.

Got the louvers all painted up and installed. Not the best pics. I used my phone, and she's not particularly clean right now, it rained yesterday. But, I really wanted to get some pics and I want to wait another day or two for the paint and adhesive to cure a bit more before I wash her.

They're the ten slate 10476 Astra Hammond quarter window louvers. I dremeled open the slats before painting to allow better driver visibility. I went with these rather than the Wheelskin.com five slats because I think these look more like the vents on the '69-'68. The wider five slats look more like the '65-'66 to me. I also think these look closest to the louvers on the Blue Flame Bullitt, which I really like the look of.

After installing the wheels and the grille I was a bit concerned that if I install the louvers I'd lose the more mature/clean look and she'd start to look like a car owned by a much younger man than myself, if that makes any sense. But, I think she still looks classy.

Whatta you guys think?

Those are some nice pictures! If I didn't look close enough I'd say it was a Bullitt! That's a great job on that grill! I dont know how that would look on Performance White though :S You sure pulled it off!
Also try and get some tire cleaner and make them tire's look black! They'll really spice up the photo's even more!
I just bought some Eagle tire cleaner for $7 + a free bottle of another Eagle product. It makes 'em look new

You're right, they do maintain your '68 look, very cool (and mature)
