Parkway/SVT Car Show (Dial-up Warning)
I showed my car this past weekend at a show sponsored by a local dealership and the SVT Cobra Mustang Club over the weekend. Rain battled everyone most of the day, although the sun peeked out on a few occasions between showers. A massive monsoon-like downpour happened during the awards, and it was pretty hard to tell who ended up with what.
They were hoping for around 300 cars, but the weather put a crimp on that. I haven't heard any official numbers, but I'd guess there were between 150-200 cars. I managed to pull out a first place finish in my class, but didn't realize until I got home I forgot to get some shots of my car in addition to some of the others!
I didn't get shots of everyone there, as the rain kept me busy wiping my car down. However, I did manage to get some shots of quite a few of the cars that were there. There were some very sweet rides!
All in all, and despite the weather, it was a good show. Considering the weather issues, the show staff did a good job, and put in some hard work!
