1970 Mustang Coupe On 20 Inch Rims
Hey how's it going guys, just wanted to share my pictures of my mustang, it has 18's in the front and 20's in the rear. A few things to note, I was looking for this setup for a long time and was not able to find any information so I ventured on my own to attempt it. I knew what I wanted and I didn't want to roll the fenders or pull them or anything like that, many people said it wouldn't work, but I figured it out with the help of some friends in Norwalk, California PRO WHEELS. So here are the pictures of the wheels. PRO WHEELS Custom 18x8 245/40/18 Nitto INVO tires and 20x10.5 275/40/20 Nitto INVO tires.

In case you guys were wondering here is a link to the build thread of the car I started a while back if you wanted to see how the car came about.

I love the 70' model. However, I'm note sure if those wheels belong on it. Regardless, it looks clean and mean and I'm curious what you plan to do motor wise. I believe you mentioned a 420, are you thinking the 429 or 427; just curious cause a big block would go great with its style.

^^The car has a 390 in it right now and it's pretty well built with a C6 trans that was built by steve sharp. I'm going to change the gears to some 355's and the car will really move then. I would love to do the 428 that my dad always talked about, but at this point in the build, I'm thinking of keeping with the modern theme and updating the motor and trans to something a bit more out of the norm. This build has been a little less than a year in the making and as I said in my original thread it's in memory of my dad, so this car will be with me until it's time to pass it on to my kids.
Thanks guys for the comments, good or bad it's just a matter of taste and what you prefer.

^^LOL! No worries guys the suspension is in the works, like I said the build has been less then a year since I started it and if you check my link to the original thread you will understand a bit more about the build. I've never been a real ford fan, I've always been into the MOPARS and I put my 70 Road Runner on the side so I could finish this in memory of my pops.
