yep, going in my 97 GT body.

internals are already fully balanced....i brought my motor to a legit race shop. the guy balanced the internals with my flexplate and IW 10% OD, its legit

Got a lot of work done today:
got help file fitting the rings from my machinest
put together whole bottom end
put on rear plate/rear main seal
put on oil pump/pick up tube/oil pan
put on water pump
put on headstuds

next thing i need to do is start putting heads on and buy my timing setup hopefully in the near future

I talked to Jim over at CMS and also a few others and the CMS stage 3 blower cams dont require notching, i guess i could have for reassurance but Jim told me I was more than fine

Put my MMR stage 3 pi heads w/ CMS stage 3 blower cams, crower high lift valve springs on:







Just set the manifold on to see what it would look like:

More progress. Got the manifold in place, except didnt torque it down yet because for some reason my old manifold bolts that go throug the waterneck/thermo house are too long and im going to have to get some that are about 1" shorter. Other than that, put injectors in manifold, gaskets in line, Cloyes timing setup just about ready to start timing...only thing does anybody know if with ARP cam bolts, should there be a washer in place or do I just torque the ARP cam bolts down? Thanks...some progress:
