Thanks so does yours. For right now I'm not sure, don't want to do anything that will void the warranty.. How long was it before you did the first oil change?

Thanks appreciate the compliment. I always do my first oil change 1,000 miles on a new car. I'm just about to hit 6,000 miles time to switch to full synthetic for me. For first oil change do either what the manual says or what you feel comfortable with. Everyone does it differently.

Ah ok, so did you also treat it nice for the first 1,000 miles to let it break in? I haven't looked at the manual yet but I guess ill check it out to see what it says, just trying to see what others have been doing to theirs.. I see that you have a couple of things done to yours, with those mods there should be no problem with the warranty?

Yeah no warranty issues with the mods I've done. I treated it nice for roughly the first 500 miles or so. Most people say that it's not necessary with the newer engines, but I just did what I've always done. I celebrated 1,000 miles by changing the oil and hitting the drag strip. I'm sure more and more people will chime in, or just search the forums there is a wealth of knowledge far more than what I have.

You can always check with your dealer to see what will void warranty or not. Some don't mind, some do. All depends.
