2012 GT sitting on KSport Kontrol Pro coilovers
Got the last of my mod list for a while (having my first baby in a week) installed this weekend. I took a chance and went for budget coilovers, namely the K Sport Kontrol Pros. K Sport is big among budget friendly mods in the import community, so I did it.
The coils are 36-way dampening adjustable. THe cornering is awesome, but man it gets rough on dips on roads. I feel like the rebound is hard, so it jolts me a little. On normal smooth roads, it feels awesome (until i hit lots of dips) I'm gonna do some research and see if there's anythign I can do when it comes to spring perch adjustment, etc. to enhance the ride, but overall, i'm pleased with how much I paid and i love the drop.
Suggestions needed: i bought a OEM scoopless hood i want to install, but havent decided how much i hate the scoop or not. What do you guys think?

Your car looks great, sorry to hear about the ride quality. I'm currently researching coilover kits.....so far, I'm really liking the "Ground Control Coilover Conversion Kit" for our cars. It's only $429.00, and they actually utilize the factory front struts....the coilover portion replaces the spring. They use Eibach Springs, so I'm sure the ride can't be too bad.
As far as the hood, I think the scoop looks really good with the overall look that you've got.

I am going to track the car when I get a chance, and determine if it's worth keeping the coilovers the way they are, because they do get irritating while normal driving sometimes. But if it pays off on the cornering and stability on the track, I can justify it.
I am also going to try to raise the rear a little, as it is maxed out. Hoping this will help the jarring feeling.
I got rid of the scooped hood, went for a clean OEM hood. Got it cheap locally, but needs to be repainted.
