Hows it goin? I saw your post and wanted to reply back to you.

I have the same issue but I haven't painted my calipers. This is about the 4th time I have had an issue with the AdvanceTrac. Personally, I like it off, a little more fun driving that way. However, it is rather annoying having to deal with. The first time it happened we pulled the abs sensors and the front left had some grease on it. We cleaned all four and blew out the brake dust out of the calipers and rotors. It worked for a while with no issues. Once it started again I noticed it happened a lot when it rained. Well, being here in Korea it rains a lot. I will get back to the rain here shortly but the next thing we did was pull the wheels off and checked the pads. There were some light cracks in them but nothing significant. We sanded them a little and checked the rotors. All was looking good. We again pulled all the abs sensors and cleaned them off. They were all in good shape with nothing on them. Again things were working well for a while. Now back to the rain. I bought one of those hand held brake fluid testers so I could check my fluid. As soon as I stuck it in the reservoir, it spiked and said I need to replace the fluid. So I replaced the fluid and sure enough again all was working. With all the rain I check my fluid pretty regular and it is constantly telling me my fluid is contaminated with water. I check the fluid in the bottle and it is good. Give it a day in the car and it is bad. Now that we finally hit some dryer weather I hope that will not be an issue. I did modify my cap to attempt to get a better seal but that didn't help. Anyway, I finally got my brake pads in that I had ordered so we installed them and again bled the lines and so forth. Everything was on point, no issues for several months. All of a sudden, here it is again acting up. I checked the sensors and they looked good. I have blown out all the excessive brake dust and still no fix. Tonight I am going to flush my brake fluid and see if that does it. If not, the wheels will be pulled and again will check the pads. I am currently running the Hawk HPS pads since the stock ones were cracking on me. For me, when my car is at idle after several minutes I will get the Service AdvanceTrac light. That is with nothing being touched and the car just sitting there. Now as far as driving, at low speeds of 5mph you can barely press the pedal and you can feel the abs modulating(chatter). This will happen several times until the AdvnaceTrac disables itself completely. If everything looks good and it is still acting up, then I will take it to the service center here and hope they can square me away. So far the Korean ran Ford Service center has been pretty good when I have any issues. I was wondering if you had any fix to your issue of late?
