This weekends Back to the Bricks cruise was incredible once again.
For those who don't know about it you better google that ****.
This cruise is quickly overtaking Woodward as the place to be.

It actually ran from Tues-Sat this year. The week days are various events and a rolling cruise every night. Then on Saturday is the big show when everyone parks downtown.
It's a great time!
For the person who complained about it being in downtown Flint, you must not be from around here. Downtown Flint is coming back in a big way. Tons of new businesses, clean streets, safe and always hosts a great show.
You said yourself it was an awesome show.

Don't get me wrong, they've came along way in recent years, but it's still a crappy city compared to most...no offense!

Well sure, Flint has it's share of problems. I am not trying to convince anyone that it is a thriving beautiful metropolis.
The fact is this cruise has grown very fast. In only 5 years it is drawing in upwards of 125,000 people and 5-10 thousand cars.
Every year it gets bigger.
For one week a year, people can put aside their beliefs on whether Flint is a nice city or not and simply enjoy a great show put on almost flawlessly.
Everyone who has attended the cruise has nothing but positive things to say.
Pretty much everything is free. You don't pay to park like Woodward, vendors are plentiful and actually have very reasonable prices. The cops are very forgiving during the cruise. They allow burnouts and stuff as long as you are not getting crazy and endangering anyone.
I hope some of you people on here will make an effort to attend next year and judge for yourself.

There is no doubt the show itself...from the cops, vendors, parking, cars, etc, is great! I also agree about putting beliefs and opinions aside, for a great show like this. All i was simply trying to imply was that a show this awesome would be even better yet in a nicer area. I think they did an incredible job with the show, and will go again next year.
I know a few people personally that were reluctant to go because of the city's reputation alone. Which is sad, but true nonetheless.
BTW, did you notice the lack of Fords there? You definantely knew you were in a GM town...lol.

I get what you're saying, Flint's reputation could use some work.
But heck people go to Woodward even though it is near Detroit which doesn't have the best rep around.
I'm glad you made the trip and hopefully you can convince others to do the same.
