Sorry I haven't responded, the laptop took a dump and we lost everything. It's back to the old PC. Driveability with the Saleen twin screw is unbelievable. At 70 mph I'm getting 21 MPG. If you stick your foot in all the time, you can actually watch the gas gauge drop. THe Saleen is very streetable. You don't notice it at all until you want that extra punch, and all you have to do is drop the hammer, (slowly) or its a smoke show.
I was able to drive several different muscle cars back in the day, and the closest I can compare this GT to is a 68 Camaro my sister's boyfriend had. It had a 427 ci L-88 with 425+ hp. Then there was this 69 Charger with a 426 Hemi w/2 fours, that car was quick. But they were big block cars and you expected the immediate neck jerking, paste you to the seat kind of torque. I would lay odds that this little 281 with the Saleen blower could stay with them easily, if not beat them.
On a hot sticky night at Cordova, before the gear change, and the drag radials not dialed in I ran a 12.93 at 109.45. Still had a fair amount of tire spin in first and second on 3:31 gears.

RETMSG:
I would love to put a blower on this car. It sounds likeitwould stay very streetable, but I dont see the $5,000+ happening this year. I've never seen one of these cars with a blower go down the track in real life, so I am looking forward to that.
This year I want to get a 1pc driveshaft and 3.73s and see what it does with UDPs and the rest of my mods. I've never had this car the track so Im very interested in what numbers it will put up.
Who did your gears? I've got a buddy that works at the Ford dealer here, but it will take him forever to get around to it. I have done all of my other mods, but I've never had to setup a rearend and I don't want to learn on this car!
