nice write up, definitely thinking about doing this swap when this motor is finally done and gone

Thanks. I will be getting more pictures and info as I get them. It will be a bit as I am going out of town.

make sure you get the 4v motor with the individual coils like yours. Im having issues because my 2000 gt had the individual coils but the 97 cobra motor i got had the 2 coil packs up front.

why didn't you clean the engine bay and motor? Nevertheless, nice job.

Yep if you are using 99 or later GT, you need the one with the COP, or you can just get the valve covers from a 97.

The motor was already clean and grease free and I did wind up cleaning the engine bay up more.

Now that I confirmed that the GT computer works fine, the writeup is complete. I just have to add in a few more pics.

If anyone has any more questions, please post em and I will give you the answer.
