Hey guys, Greetings from Moscow! I have an idead to swap my v6 pony into 4.6 Mustang GT. Reading alot, i bought iron 4.6 v8 with AODE/4r70w transmission.
Also i bought 4v heads and eaton m112 supercharger from cobra 2003.
And now, before buying lower intake and intercooler, i got a question.
What ECU to use? If i use sn95 ECU they won't connect with other modules on s197 ?
Can i retune 3v s197 ECU and re-make wirings to use with Cobra engine? Or just buying sport ECU like AEM or LINK G+ ?

If you have the SN97, you're in the wrong section, and you're subject and message detail

Then it looks like you want to take a V8 Cobra motor from an SN97, and put it into an S197.
You will need this ECU and Engine harness, and transmission, but I don't know why you
just didn't get a 05-10 4.6 or even a 5.0 Coyote.
You will have to have the ECU tuned for the SuperCharger no matter what you do.
You need the 4.6 V8 ECU, preferably from the donor motor, and the harness, because
the transmission bolts to that SN97 V8 motor. The Automatic S197s all use the 5R55S.
Please take some time, and explain what it is, exactly, you want to do, because you have

The main idea of it is to build supercharger 32v cobra engine into s197. I was searching via stang forums in US and found out that there are lot of s197 with 4r70. But it's not problem i have one 5R55s from v8 GT s197.
I just want to understand if i install 32v cobra i need to use PCM(ECU) from s197 4.6 GT and tune it? Or i have to buy ECU AEM / G4+ to connect it with can-bus ?

I just want to know, if i want working cluster and other from my stock car, i have to use s197 PCM ? or if i use cobra PCM it will works too ?
