4.0 to 5.4 Swap
 

Okay so, I have a 2010 4.0 mustang. I know, I know. Should've waited for the 2011, like everyone says, but whatever. Anyways, I was checking out some video's on YouTube, and I came across this video of a guy who'd swapped a 4.0 to a 5.4 in a 2007 mustang. I've been looking around for a complete list of parts/advice (or even if I should try this/ if it's worth it or not) I've heard pros and cons either way. So, if anyone has any opinions, or advice, lemme know.

Gonna have to start with a deep pocket if you want to make this build right. You'll have to beef up basically everything.

Your gonna need a motor, trans, rearend, custom made driveshaft, most likely custom motor mounts, and custom wiring harness. Its possible but your best bet is to find a wreck 10 GT and swap the 4.6 out of it and then supercharge it.

I going to do it in my car evenutally because its not worth anything much to someone money wise, but the stories I have with that car. I might as well, do what I want with it
