ok my motors got about 230000 miles on it. its a 96 and all stock. its starting to lag and blow smoke and burning a lot of oil.. the times at the track are horrible. but the question is my buddy has a 2v triton I can get for cheap but I don't have enough money to get the adaptor plates yet. so is it ok to leave the stock intake from the 5.4 on there and just get another hood and cut it if so does anyone have pic of that... or any swap tips or good write ups. please help fast idk how much longer my motor will last.
