Need some kind of help

Ok I have a 97 v6 mustang 3.8. What I need help with is that I now have a 85 or newer 302 5.0 carb motor that I want to put into it. Motor is new and has about 15mins of run time on it. Everything came with it. The guy I got it from pulled it out of his 96 v6 body mustang. Mounts came with it also What I want to know will the mounts that are from the v6 body that worked in the 96 to hold the 302. Will they work in my 97 v6 body. Someone said yes and some said they don't know. Does anyone know.

If they worked in the 96 then they will work in your 97.

Ok thanks all I needed to know on that. Also what wire do I need to run to the Ignition Coil. I mean from my 97 to motor. I have a idea which one. I just want to make sure.
