I've been wanting to do the 5.0 swap in mine since I bought it. Always heard it was next to impossible to do though. This thread gives me hope that it is something I can do myself. Damn fine job on the conversion. I bet that paint looks sick in the sun.

Thanks man , yeah she sparkles and shines in the sun. Its def not hard swap to do , biggest hurdles would be finding a motor for a deal and then getting the FRPP control pack and then deciding what rack to go with or using the acc brackets available, other than that plain sailing

Well the project took another turn , I snagged a 2014 5.0 front bumper and hood CHEAP , so I bought 2 aftermarket front fenders and am doing the front swap. Im blending the 2010 up fenders into mine so it all meshes.

I have so much wanted to do this for a 2010-2012 onto my 09. Other than the fender flair it does not look too bad right off! I was thinking it might be easier to cut the 05-09 fender a bit in the front to fit the 10-12 front fascia. Or, maybe cut and swap the flairs.

I assume the 10-12 bolt points are no different than the 13-14?

One Eyed ***** has already did this using a 13-14 gt500 front end on his. He may be able to help with whats needed

I am not crazy about all black as I just have to have some contrasts on mine ..... but I am totally loving the whole newer front sheet metal swap and 5.0 Coyote!
