I have 2 options here, #1-I'm swapping everything from a 86 GT into a 4cyl 93 body I picked up, I have both cars both are complete minus the head from the 4cyl, 86 is a 5.0 manual car, 93 is Auto,,, my plans- swap engine/trans/whole front crossmember at once, then swap over the 8.8", brake lines, fuel lines,,,,, things I'm not sure about- would it be easier to just swap the dash out for the 86 dash and center console? Or make the 93 dash work with the 86 parts? Don't know much about condition of wiring in the 93(just got the car) the wiring in the 86 looks like it was repaired by a blind chimp,,,,,,
Option #2- use all the body parts and interior from the 93 to fix the 86, the 86 is a replusive donkey more then a mustang, wiring is garbage, interior is hideous, top and top frame need to go(both cars are verts), and the body looks worse then the rest of the car, radiator support is bent up, rad sits 1"-1 1/2" higher then it should(I'm guessing it jumped a curb before),,, ,the 93 just needs to run and needs paint, body is perfect and only cost $250
Any help would be greatly appreciated
