Default 94 mustang big block build

Thought I would post progress of my most recent project. This has been an ongoing project for the past couple years, but have gotten very serious about just getting it all done in one shot. My plan is an EFI bored and stroked 557 cubic inches with a 250 or 300 shot of nitrous. Ford 9 inch narrowed, running 15x12 wheels, moving all factory wiring to inside the car, roll cage, subframe connectors, the list goes on and on, will update as progress continues.

Engine list so far:

88 block out of f-250
Scat 557 rotating assembly
Canton 460 swap oil pan with pick up and dipstick
Canton girdle and windage tray with arp main bolts
Hooker Fox 2 inch headers(modified to fit car)
Melling high volume oil pump
Comp double roller
Trick flow power port 225 heads
Comp custom grind cam
lunati 1.73 rockers
lunati solid roller lifters
edelbrock vic jr EFI lower manifold
edelbrock 90mm elbow
edelbrock pro flo throttle body
Meziere electric water pump

And many other parts sitting in boxes still.

This is what the car started as the day I got it. Nice clean and straight 94 GT manual, with a worn out 302. Upgraded a few things, upgrading to a built TKO 600. It is American powertrain's extreme TKO 600 which is rated for 950 lb/ft. Was building the car for a turbo 351 build, then changed plans and sold everything in the car except TKO.

I have run into several problems with clearance issues. First is the hooker 460 swap headers, on driver's side the primary closest to firewall hit frame and the steering shaft. Also passenger side 1 primary hits the frame as well. I will be rebuilding those tubes throughout the week. I just completed altering the clutch setup, as I will be running a hydraulic clutch. I went with Mcleod hydraulic clutch setup and the master cylinder was hitting the valve cover so I flipped the clutch pedal assembly. Putting the clutch quadrant on the left of the clutch pedal, and moving the master cylinder between firewall and strut tower. Had to make box to mount firewall adjuster to inside the car as it was too long and hit the strut tower. It worked out well, I get full pull on the master cylinder. Firewall will be smoothed over once the motor is pulled again.

Was able to get away with only having to rebuild one header tube on driver's side around the steering shaft. Original had a poor fit and hit frame and steering shaft. Passenger side was rubbing on k member where it mounted to frame, trimmed the k member and got just enough clearance to make it work. Engine is out and will be going to machine shop for short block assembly. This weekend will be mini tub install and testing wheel and tire fitment to determine rear end width.

I made a new frame for the trunk sheet metal that will sit up about 3.5" higher than factory. Reason for this is I am using a large 20 gallon fuel cell and wanted to tuck it up as high as possible. I used some 18 gauge sheet metal between frame of car and trunk floor pan welded with seam sealer to keep water out. Also used POR-15 rust preventative, and lizard skin sound deadener on interior and on trunk sheet metal to try and keep rattling to a minimum.

cleanded and undercoated the entire underside (brush on undercoating, I would not recommend using any type of this). Rear end installed and yes I know the tires aren't centered, I have yet to adjust anything for rear end or suspension.
