I want to swap my v6 4.0 engine for the 03 v8 4.6 supercharge engine. Not sure if the transmission would fit or would I need a different transmission same for the ecu. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks

You'd need a different transmission, driveshaft, and rear axle to cope with the extra torque.

Also, check emissions laws in your county/state. Some states prohibit swapping of the engine with an older one. In Cali for example you can only go with the same year or newer when doing a swap/upgrade on cars that must meet state smog law (75 and newer I believe).
