1985 gt swap. "HELP"

1985 gt swap. "HELP"
My brother has come to me for help.
He has a 1885 gt. He is trying to put in a 1990 5.0 Efi motor. He was told or otherwise misled to believe that all he needed was to pull the old wiring harness and install the 1990 harness with the new computer.
Here I realize this is not just plug and play like he thought. Can the 1990 harness be spliced into the 1985 harness. If so can anyone point me in the right direction for resources/ professional help. I can't find anything.

Yep, it's not just plug and play turning a carbed car to FI. It's been done many times though. Use the search feature here and dig up older threads that cover the do's and don'ts.
Or for simplicity, just swap the carb stuff to the EFI motor.
