3.7 cyclone to 5.0 coyote swap
Hey all,
So long story short, I've decided after a long time that I want to swap my current 2015 mustang 3.7 V6 cyclone with a 5.0 V8 coyote engine.
I know that its going to cost a lot more then selling the car and buying another GT, but I simply cannot do so as its financed and im not looking to trade it in.
Money is not really an issue, I already have a few contacts including AmericanMuscle who sell the crate factory engines including the 5.0's.
What else is needed besides the engine itself? Will everything from the engine to the rear end of the car need to be replaced?
I just want to make sure I know what im jumping into before I get going on this project...
Any help is appreciated from you mustang guys, thanks!

Crate motor, engine harness, PCM/ECM.
Not sure why a different tranny as JimC mentioned? Mustangs of the same generation use the same transmission regardless of engine (V6 or V8), except for in certain instances of a GT500.

Because there is a difference in the bell housing - same transmission but different mounting and on the S197 models it also had a different input shaft (not sure about the S550 on that part)
