Default 2004 v6 in a 1998 v6

Hey so my 1998 Ford Mustang blew the spark plug out the side of the block so I need a new engine. I have a 2004 v6 laying around and want to swap it in but wondering what it entails because of the wiring differences?

Are you sure it didn't blow out of the cylinder head?

Don't believe I've ever seen an engine with the spark plugs bolted into the block. What keeps the piston from hitting them?
