how to get my trans to fit my engine

Hey, I have a 1986 lx convertible right now that has a T5 cobra trans and also have a 3.7l v6 out of a 2013 mustang and wanted to know how I could put the 3.7l engine in the 86 mustang with the trans. I know its not the ideal transition for this application but its whats available to me. I would like to be able to use the v6 with my t5 but I don't know how to connect the engine to the transmission, additionally I don't know if I will need a specific motor mount to properly install this engine to my fox or if a generic one will do. If any one can direct me toward what I need or give me any insight i'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Doug

You may not using that T5 with that motor, it won't even bolt up to it. It has
a removable bell housing, but not sure you can get one to bolt on that
mates to the 3.7 motor. The 3.7 puts out 305 HP at 280ft lbs of torque,
so you're upwards of the T5's limit of 300 ft-lbs torque. That trans
only weighs 75lbs dry, not a beefy trans.

If you're dead-set on bolting them together and can't find the right bellhousing, there may be a bellhousing adapter plate out there to serve your needs. However, that opens up another can of worms as the extra thickness means that you'd have to get a longer input shaft, or maybe a flywheel spacer, plus whatever it's going to take to ensure that the starter will line up.
