Default ‘95 Convertible 3.6L V6 to 4.8L V8

Hello! I’ve been looking into swapping out my engine for a while now and finally decided to actually go ahead and try to start the process. Where should I start?

Haha, thought so. Had to be sure!

LoboFrank's right. First thing you'll want to do is start figuring out where you're going to source an engine from. If you can find a wrecked (but not too wrecked, of course) 4.6L Mustang, that'll be your best bet towards getting all the parts you'll need (PCM, wiring harness, exhaust, etc.).

Default Yes

I bought a 96 gt that’s been a slow rollever . Have plans to use the wiring harness, gauge cluster, manual transmission, rear end, brakes and suspension on my 1999 3.8 v6 vert. Then I learned all the Ford-isms regarding PI engines. I bought a 2001 Pi from a crown Vic. Hoping my 96 PCM will run the 2001 Pi
Trying to make 375 rw horsepower
