I have the scoop, just haven't put it on yet. I was checking out some after market rear spoilers and bumpers. I have the "usual" splitting and cracking of the bumpers. Need to replace those. I do have a 9" rear end, just need to find the time and "extra" cash to work it in, needs a rebuild. I want to do it ONCE and be done with it. Part of me wants to narrow the rear end and tub it but I get sick thinking about cutting her up for that. I know, I know, the 302 is FAR from stock but she's pretty much unmolested, not sure if I can bring myself to doing that to her. All in due time. Still have a quite a bit of cosmetic stuff to complete but the biggest obstacle "getting her road ready" is over.
My 18 year old son wants to drive it to school....I just about laughed him to the next area code.

My first car was a 74 Coupe that I got for my 15th bday. Catch was it had a blown motor...gee thanks Dad. We found another 2.8 v6 and put it together was a fun little car. Wish I could find a fastback to turn into an autocross CP car. Light, small, with a built 302..would be fun.

I would get a 9" rearend for it and some new front spindles so you could put some 5 lugs on it. Add a leaf to the rear, give it a little rake. 15x8 in the rear 14x7 in the front it would look mean.

It needs the Cobra II spoilers and a hood scoop.

It makes me want to build one.
Hood scoop got mounted this past Friday, and got the rest of my wheel well trim put on. Slowly but surely she's coming together.
I'm thinking my winter project is going to be building that 9" rear end. Just trying to decide if I want the 3.50 or 3.73 gears. It won't be a daily driver, so I'm leaning towards the 3.73 just for the added "shock value" - LOL! I have to burn 93 octane, if gas prices spike again, it probably won't be driven much anyway!
I want to post a video of my launch but I don't want my 18 year old son SEEING me do that....not a good example to set with an impressionable teenager! I'm sure he does fine without any added Dad ideas....if you know what I mean!

Got any new pix with the scoop?

3.73:1 is going to make that thing nasty.

Keep us posted.

We need more IIs around here.

Not yet, coming soon though. Been a busy week for me and no slow down in sight for the rest of the week. I'll try to get some posted soon.
