Default mustang 2 carb

im looking for a carb for a buddy of mines 1976 mustang 2 and im told its is a 4 banger car and i need to know what carb was on the car and what the best one is to repace it

my dad bought a rebuilt one for his 2.3, i'll find out and let you know. i can tell you its not a standard 2bbl bolt pattern, but you can buy aftermarket intakes from places like racer walsh and put a holley 2 bbl or even 4 bbl intakes i believe.

The stocker is a progressive unit, which I actually like when it's working properly. Think of it as a 1/2 sized 4-bbl for a 1/2 sized engine.
