yup.
theres nothing unreliable about a 302 even in carb'd form, C4's are tough as nails, and everything else is super simple and basic - which also equals cheap when something DOES break

UPDATE:
I'm not going to sell my II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to give the motor to my engine builder have him build a mean engine. about 4 grand. I'm shooting for 400-450 hp. My dad said that I don't have agood enough or strong enough tranny to support that along with the rear end.
Now my question IS!?- What tranny for an affordable price can I put in her along with a rearend? I can afford the rebuild maybe not 400 hp, but 375 would work. But what tranny and rear end can support that?
