Default Need help, is it valve noise or rod knock?

hello all, im new here.

Been having some trouble trying to figure out whats wrong with my buddy's car. If someone could direct what i to do would be great. The sound increases as RPM goes up. Here is a video of the noise.

its a 1977 Mustang 2.3L

could that just be a badass exhaust leak??

That sounds like a rod knock to me. Pull the spark plug wire off the noisy cyl and if it is it should go away.
