Default '78 mach 1 5.0 302 V8 Hesitating, stalling

My baby was running perfectly. Then she wasn't, overnight. Went and started her up, gave her the ol warm up and took off. Didnt make it very far. She hesitated, sputtered, stalled. RPMs just drop off a cliff. I've replaced the distributer cap, plugs, wires, etc and fuel pump seems to be fine. There has been about 6 of us completely stumped. Maybe someone has an idea? I'm a plug short of doing a make it run dance!

Technically, the 5.0 designation was first used in 1978.......

Actually, I assumed you had figured it out by now, I just wanted to see the car - I have a weakness for the Mustang II Mach 1's and cobras. I know, I should seek help.

And, I have to say, yours looks pretty sharp.

Thanks! She's my baby <3 I bought her last year from the original owners son - she's original everything except what I've went through and replaced under the hood, which was basically everything lol I have headers in storage I'm debating on putting on but I can't commit lol you definitely don't need help, because if you do then i need it too lolol
