That Ford Racing Mustang(s) just ran away with its division in last year's racing circuit. Basically blew away the competition. And Steeda Racing blew away its competition. I think Steeda has 13 poll positions out of a possible 15. They won at least 11 of those polls and had all 2nds and 3rds after that. Over all a very good year!

Yea some show had a very god story on it, I forget which show maybe someone know. This year the Mustangs were given some extra weight , to let the others catch up. Love to see Mustangs racing

I agree that car is sweet! It did so well that it was "rewarded",by adding weight and a 30% air inlet reduction to cut power.The rules makers decided that Porsche needed"help". If you got to see the opening race at Daytona,you know what happened.Usually the Mustang v8's, blow everybody away on the straightaway.This year, with the "rewards", they were the slowest. And yes, Porsche dominated and won the race 1st&2nd. Now, will they change again? (the rules)Just have to wait and see

You know that Porsche and some of the foreign automaker teams were just steaming over losing to an American "Pony" car................not a Corvette or Viper, mind you.............a PONY car. Poor saps.[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

That FR500C cammer motor is awesome...........too bad it costs almost as much as my 05 GT[&:]

I wish Ford would make something to go head to head with the Vette on the track. The Gt500 wont because it is supercharged.There is the Saleen SR7 , but why not a FORD factory car???

I always had wished they had gone the way of the rumors that I heard about 9 years ago. Before the retro Thunderbird came out, I heard talk that Ford was gonna bring the T-bird out in 2 seater true sports car form with a V8 powerplant.........and it would go after the Corvette. Too bad that never came to fruition.

No kidding. What a waste of time that thing was... I wonder which sold worse T-bird or the GT. I know differint reasons...
