Well that's kind of a hard question to answer being that you're asking about two different production models there. The 96-98's are a different breed from the 99-01's. Just out of curiousity....why are you inquiring about this range of year models? The 99-01 "New Edge" production SN-95 mustangs ran up until 04. Also, you didn't say whether you were in the market for a V6, GT, or a Cobra........that makes a big difference. And why open up your shopping experience for one by asking how bad they were/are?
