The new Camaro is supposed to be pretty expensive though, so for the same money a GT will be able to beat a new Camaro. we will see though.

you are right the next cobra will own any of the next camaro/firebirds. it is simple if you think of it.
the next cobra WILL be faster than the base vette. and there is no way that gm will let the camaro/firebird be faster than the vette especially since it will be priced lower.
