overall performance difference is a lock right down the line: GT wins. Then you have the exotica factor and exclusivity. Heck, they sell Eleanor kits on eBay now, even an Eleanor replica impostor so the exclusivity factor is starting to wane.

Yes I,m talkin bout the New GT500, There's just something about them Older Cars that Look Awsome and we're talkin about 725 HP too 550HP No Comparison. The New GT500 Just does'nt appeal too Me.

Been busy so I haven't been on much, but I would honestly take a GT500E over the new GT--both have that "Look at me, I'm different" thing going for them, but the Eleanor cars are actually going to be more rare than the GT's... plus they're "official Shelby's" even if Shelby didn't actually do anything but authorize them.

...Matter of fact, I'm hoping to get the cash to at least start building one this summer. Supercharged small-block with a TKO, other than that, identical to the movie car.

I'm sorry but "elanor" is overrated. It is a bad *** looking car, and I would appreciate it much more if i have memories of it. But I don't think anyone really does. Correct me if I'm wrong but i don't think the cars looked like that when they came out (xeon headlights...etc). So it's basically a mustang that someone has put a lot of time and money into, which is cool.

GT is my choice.

Eleanor is hot!! I saw the making of one on the show "Rides" on TLC. Anyone can buy that body kit for $5000. I bit steap but anyone could build one for under $40000. I am going to build one before I die. Chip Foose helped in the design of that car, for Gone in 60 seconds. I do like the new mustangs too. But they need a body kit for it. The front bumber doesnt look good. In my opinion. Cervinis is making a GT500 kit for the new mustang here check it out.

Are you really that f'in dumb? If the 2007 GT500 is $40,000, you're gonna tell me you would pay another $149,000 for an extra 275HP? The car is nice, but who is really gonna buy one at that price?
